Google is always updating and improving its ability to show you where your ad budget is going and what result it’s generating. With this latest UI update, they have introduced a simple way of seeing when your conversions have occurred through the use of a new column. Before this update, Google Ads had always reported on conversions by the specific date it occurred on or when the ad was clicked. Even if the conversion happened a day or two after, it would trace back which advert triggered the conversion and record it next to that – on the day they clicked the ad. This provided reports which showed inaccurate data.

Starting now, users of Google Ads will have access to even more granular data.

The following six reporting columns are now available:

  • Conversions (by conv. time)
  • Conv. value (by conv. time)
  • Value / Conv. (by conv. time)
  • All conv. (by conv. time)
  • All conv. value (by conv. time)
  • Value / all conv. (by conv. time)

Each of these columns in Google Ads will help businesses and agencies understand their conversions and make it really simple to compare the data with their own internal sales reports from CRM or ERP systems as the dates will now match. The ability to compare reports could help confirm how many products were sold in a given time period for example.
